Finally......

an update! I have been procrastinating for months, just being lazy ha ha!

Now, to show you what I have been stitching in the last couple of months. I finally put the last few stitches to LK's 6 Fat Men. I really enjoyed stitching these snowmen.

A close up of the last snowman!

The size of this project is just right for a cushion. I thought of making it into a cushion cover but the Crescent Colors used are not colorfast! Maybe frame it???

Next, some hardanger stitchings. Here are two doilies!

Design: From Permin
Fabric: 32ct Dusty Rose Belfast Linen
Thread: DMC Perle

The next doily is a round one. It is supposed to be a cake tray doily, about 8.5 inches in diameter.

Design: From German Hardanger magazine
Fabric: 28ct Lilac Meran
Thread: DMC Perle

A close up of the sunflower, the petals are actually cross stitches!

Two other small finishes to show, BBD's Souvenir de France and Dany's Pins! I intend to finish both as pincushions. Souvenir de France is stitched over 1, so it is going to be a tiny pincushion!

Design: BBD's freebie
Fabric: 25ct Comar
Thread: CC Wild Berries

Design: Dany
Fabric: 32ct antique white Belfast
Thread: DMC

This one was pulled out from the wip's basket and finished in the last month!

I had some great mails in the last couple of months.

I received a wonderful RAK from Lillie! I love boxes and I saw this one on Lillie's blog. She so graciously sent me one together with a beautiful felt needlebook! Thank you so much, Lillie, for these gifts!

I have selected and kitted a wonderful BBD design(from Mary Ann Blackburn leaflet) to stitch for this box, just don't know when I will start and finish it ha ha!

Gifts from Doris - Blossom Time by Papillon Creations kitted with fabric and threads and Woodland Walk chart by The Drawn Thread. Thank you, Doris, for these great designs!

I also received a wonderful giveaway package from Robin with lots of beautiful charts and fabrics! Thank you, Robin, for these great gifts!

I have just received the Traveling Pattern - LHN's Summer Splendor- from Lisa in Australia. Watch this space for the drawing if you want to be the next stitcher!

Thank you for visiting my blog and I love to read all your lovely comments! I have some problems with the Follower Gadget, it does not show but you still can follow my blog.

Happy Stitching till the next update!

Hugs,
Ellen

What great finishes, Ellen--the snowmen are adorable and your doilies are so beautifully worked! I really love the teeny-tiny BBD piece, too...

Hope you enjoy stitching the LHN Traveling Pattern as much as I did :)
